Community Cafés operate at Toothill Community Centre in West Swindon on a Monday and a Wednesday. Come in for breakfast or lunch on a Monday - and light refreshments or the super set meal on a Wednesday!
The project came about in 2003 when a group of West Swindon residents came together to set up a safe sociable place to meet and chat, with an affordable sideline to grab a hot drink and eat nutritious meals.
We are self funding enterprise paying rent each week to our venue hosts. We do not aim to make a profit, but any surplus revenue is invested back into improving the community.
Our café is open to everyone: customers range from homeless people to business professionals, young mothers with toddlers to the elderly, with a sprinkling of teenagers in between.
